Sometimes it can be cheaper to lease a tractor or trailer than to buy it outright.  We have a number of contacts with leasing companies that might be of help to you.

There are a number of things you really need to be careful of when leasing.   Know how much the end cost will be to you when you turn in the truck or trailer.  How many miles are you allowed in your lease?   What are the charges if you go over those maximum allowed miles?  Who carries the insurance on whatever you lease?  You or the leasing company?

What about the cargo you are hauling?   Some leases will prohibit you from hauling certain cargos, for fear of the damage the cargo might do to their equipment.   Are you going to be limited in what you can do with whatever equipment you lease?

Leasing can be tricky, so be careful in what you do.
